Yes, math is a very big part of Industrial Engineering! Many IEs have a minor in math.

@mayamatz20 hahaha 11 months later i recomend you read the core tools, AMEF, PPAP, SPC and MSA.......especificaly the APQP there you can read which are the steps for a good production launch.....
