Haha, I had some trouble with that the first few ones I had. There are numbers on the sides so you know where to start unwrap though. ;)

Confused the heck out of me the first time. For the uninitiated, I'll add that the wrapper actually goes between the seaweed and the rice as well as around the outside of the whole thing. You sort of pull a few tabs to unwrap it a certain way.

LOL that resembles the gouza I try to cook. Fumi & I work so hard to wrap the pastry around them. But when it comes to my turn to cook them, all that hard work comes apart lol

Hahaah!!! Kurt!!! I had my first one this morning waiting for my train. I must say I got it ont he first try but that was luck. It was awesome!!! I love onigiri!!!

XD I know how those wrappers can be. X) I just sit down and gently try to wiggle the plastic off. :) It'd probably be a lot easier to unwrap is the #1 strip went all the way around the rice ball. The ones I get have a sticker preventing that most of the time.
