People are talking as if remixing a song is like raping a granny! Yeah, I love Mew, but I don't see anything wrong with remixing one of their tunes, especially when it's done as tastefully and with as much love as Sasha has shown here. I'd love this one to drop at a party - good vibes! Sasha was evidently inspired by the original, and decided to sprinkle his personality into the mix. If you don't like it, don't listen to it, and carry on about your day!

@joeldanielson Im a percussionist, and no i cant do this. doesnt make it any good. Iv seen mew live and this is indeed as varantodds said murder.

@zeboy90 @vagrantodds If you can't do a better remix that sees as much positive / critical reception, then shut the hell up. I'm a graphic designer, I love Mew - and also love good dance music, and happen to have followed Sasha for many years. This is as good, if not better, than a lot of Sasha's work. He, like anyone working at their craft, gets better with practice and experience. You probably have none, otherwise you'd sound less like a fool.

@vagrantodds I agree with you, I want to find this shasha and beat the shit out of him. And im gobsmacked that anyone would like this. I this this Shasha should stay the fuck away from Mew and never ever EVER Touch their songs ever.

I love dance music, and I love Mew. These two combine to create spectacular.

This... this isn't good, sorry. Disrespects a great song with shitty remixing.

I wanted to really like this. Sadly I didn't.
I love Mew and I love Sasha I'm so glad he is a fan of their music. You discover so much more music when Dj's know great bands. Really great remix work
