Internet advertising revenues have risen dramatically in the past year as advertisers have begun to recognize the potential of Web 2.0. However, many pundits see another internet bubble looming. Could this happen again or has the new internet crowd learned its lesson?
Although it's impossible to know for sure, all signs are pointing to dramatic increases in online advertising revenues in the next five years.
However, web developers, entrepreneurs, and advertisers have proceeded more cautiously this time. The resilience of the web as a viable advertising medium has revealed itself in the fact that revenue has been growing steadily since 2002, despite economic and geo-political uncertainties.
Now, Web 2.0 has caused that steady growth to accelerate significantly. Web 2.0 has transformed the way advertisers are viewing the internet.
Adding more details to the explanation of my idea my service would go from making my customers fan pages, designing their flyers, promovids, slogans etc ,negotiating with they the posibilities of give to their new potential clients (their fans on the page) special benefits and discounts, to actualize and actualize the profile with interest content and all the facebook tricks. As i was saying on my first comment i know many business owners that even doesn't know what Facebook is.
Thanks again.

Now there is something im not sure about the service i want to provide, i want to use Facebook as my tool and all their benefits like make fan pages, create events, actualize your wall with almost any kind of content and format you want etc etc, but there is a chat that maybe a can exploit to get a one-one dialog with my supposed fans, my doubt is about if this technique might could be too much invasive. What do you think about it and my whole idea to make some revenew with social networks?

im totally agree with you, now advertising companies are promoting spam as an "emailing service" just with the difference that the shitty content is replaced with e-flyers but at the end it still being spam no matter if you can unsuscribe, i think banners, adsense and all the non intrusive are ok but the too much elaborated ads as some flashes with sounds included, popups popunders, spam as you are saying are simply hated by the internet masses
