Twitter and other social media websites are a huge part of our society. Just take the new charity campaign, TwitChange, as an example. If you are an attorney, you have two options. You can choose to ignore Twitter, dismissing it is as another fad. Or, you can embrace Twitter and use it to grow your business. It is up to you. I do have to tell you one thing, though. I know attorneys who are using Twitter to get cases. It’s working for them and it can work for you.
Twitter is an effective "Welcome Mat" that smart attorneys use to invite new business to their firm. Other than being lazy, I can't imagine why would anyone want to limit new client access to their firm's virtual front door. Compliment your Twitter presence with Facebook, Linkedin, and Google + and of course, your web sites and related video services and you'll have a nice little formula for success. Of course, the above are no substitute for quality service!
