Inspired by the Pogues songs and reading about the sad plight of what is happening in Ireland where many have no option but to travel abroad for work. But also the many who made a success whether in Ireland or abroad as descendants of Irish - or any race of immigrants for that matter.
As well, I wanted to learn more about what I can do on the computer and YouTube; so I thought the first posting has to have some heart in it - otherwise I would never have completed it. Twas fun but as I was looking at related images and reading it brought home the collective history of those who have gone before to allow me to be where I am today.
A tribute to all those Irish people whose future has been mortgaged and have to once again set off as refugees from Eire.
To all those emigrants (Irish and Non-Irish), whether for economic or political reasons, who have gone before to make a better life in foreign lands of opportunities and in remembrance of those that didn't make it to their destination.
