I love Eva. I first heard her music at Border Books and Music Store in Ohio. I was captured by her beautiful soulful voice. I ended buying 2 of her CD that day. My heart goes out to her family, and close friends who I know miss her and grieve over her. Prayers sent to them.

I believe that Chris Biondo, her close friend and co-musician/producer, said something to the effect, that Eva was, also, an incredibly talented C/W singer, and had done this as a gig with her brother when she was younger, but there was very little of this recorded for her legacy.

There is a clean, pure quality in her voice that is magical. Never heard anyone else even close.

Eva reminds me of Judy Collins. She has a pure vocal tone like Judy C. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing her sing, first on a movie called "My X" and now I'M really lovin' her voice and her song choices.

Quite simply, Eva Cassidy is the finest female vocalist I have ever heard. Such a loss, but her legacy lives on with the music she blessed us with.
