Gameplay from Manx TT Superbike playing on the Sega Saturn retro games console. Retro Gaming.

This is not a review, walkthrough, playthrough, or demonstration of my playing ability.
It's simply a quick demonstration of the game so that anyone not familiar with these old games can see what it looks like.
It's also here so that I can embed it, along with most of the games in my collection, on my website (see link above).

Any opinions or comments I make regarding these games should largely be taken with a pinch of salt.
They are usually based on my first impressions after a very brief play.

  • is it a coincedence that this video is 9:11 in length?....lol seriously though cool video steve! for some reason i searched for this game and found your vid,ive been watching your videos for awhile now but i didnt even realize how many videos youve uploaded

  • @Imtherealsaturnsonic The Christmas Special video that I'll be recording later today will be my official 1000th video on this channel :D

  • You do insist on using first person for every single driving game like maybe it's the law - i like this mode myself but some games just don't work that greatly

Just the sheer nature of the screen jerking around can't surely be much fun in this mode - with analog yes

Quite a nice game this one though i think many would disagree that it was the best on Saturn

Do you play these driving games much at all or do you prefer just tipping your toes in each time - just curious really

  • I only insist on using that view when it works best for me.

Some of these games I've played a lot, some I haven't... but I've played all enough to know which view I prefer.

I think the only game I prefer with an External view is Outrun Coast To Coast.

  • Cool game Steve, but your steering made me a bit queasy. Anyway, has your console crashed and it wasnt your fault?

if so call InjuryClaims100PercentDirect4You. Our lawyers are waiting for your call. NOW :p

  • LOL @ InjuryClaims100PercentDirect4You :D

  • That's just a posh way of saying "first!" Lol.

  • Great review as always. Just one little thing. Could you include the publishing-years of the games too? Just for the record. I'd find that interesting.

  • Nothing beats the Sheep lol :D.

  • wow I remember this game! I played when I was young(er)!

  • For me this is the 2nd best racer on the Saturn with Sega Rally topping my favourite Saturn racers. I do love this game though, loved it in the arcades and I was so happy back in the day when I heard the Saturn was getting a conversion. I did find the controls a bit twitchy when cornering as was evident here but that is the price of digital joypads I guess. However it doesn't stop this game from being highly enjoyable and I loved the music and that gruff voice "Passing the checkpoint!".

  • excellent

  • This game wobbles too much, it's making me seasick.

  • @Adropacrich2 i agree its harder to manuver in first person, but in driving game thats all i uses

  • Hey Steve- I do live in the Isle of man! And thats nothing like Laxey!

  • I loved this game too, only annoyance is there's only two tracks.

But i'm collecting Satuen games at the moment, and I've gotten hold of a cardboard sleeve and a plastic sleeve version of Manx TT, I've never seen that before and only came across it myself totally by accident.
