`To get to Dutch Creek, you must either drag, carry, and bash your boat 1.5km down Brewer Creek, or get in and risk it all to careen madly down the steep and convoluted creekbed (Brewer Creek drops at 54m/km or 285 ft/mile). If you try to paddle, make sure you have extremely good boat control since Brewer Creek rips down a log jammed boulder bed with abundant final resting places.΄
-- Stuart Smith, `Canadian Rockies Whitewater΄, pg 142

After the first fifteen minutes I wasn't much in the mood to record this fiasco so Tyler and Rhonda deserve all credit for the footage. Treasure the single shot of Dutch Creek proper (5:26) since 99% of the video concerns simply getting to the put in and from the take out. Frankly, this river has little to recommend it unless you're a complete masochist. Even the scenery sucks since the best views of the hoodoos are from the highway.

I couldn't cut all the expletives or the end result wouldn't convey the true nature of the trip. However, I censored the worst of it for those with more delicate sensibilities.
