Macaroni and Béchamel Sauce
Béchamel Sauce:
Ingredients:
- 1/3 Cup Flour
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 Cup Milk
- Salt to taste
- Sprinkle of Nutmeg
Directions:
1. Cook flour until it becomes a golden color. This step gives the flour a nice nutty flavor
2. Add butter, melt over low heat flame and mix well with flour
3. Add the milk very gradually and blending thoroughly
4. Add salt and pepper to taste stir constantly to prevent the mixture from becoming lumpy until it reaches the desired thickness. You may add more milk depending on the consistency you are looking for.
5. Add the nutmeg

Macaroni:
- ½ KG Pasta of your choice
- Boil according to cooking directions on the bag



Meat and tomato sauce filling:
-½ a pound ground beef
-1 large diced onion
-Cooking oil
-1 teaspoon each of oregano and basil
-Fresh parsley, optional
-Salt, black pepper, allspice to taste
Cooking directions:

-Mix the cooked beef with tomato paste, hot water, add the herbs and cook for about 20 or until the sauce has cooked taste.
-Add the meat sauce mix to the pasta
-I usually microwave it for about ten minutes, to give it this cooked taste.

Assembly of the dish:
1- In the baking pan, mix the half of the macaroni with 1 cup Béchamel Sauce
2- Add the mix of the tomato paste and the ground beef over the macaroni.
3- Keep on making layers of the macaroni, béchamel sauce and meat until you are done with them
4- You may sprinkle the top with grated cheese of your choice.
5- Bake in a 350 Fahrenheit degree oven until the edges and the top turns golden brown color.
6- Serve hot.

صلصة البشاميل

1 / 3 كأس طحين
-- 4 ملاعق طعام الزبد
-- 3 كأس الحليب
-- ملح
-- رشه من جوزة الطيب
ألخطوات:
1. تحميص الطحين الى ان يصبح ذهبي اللون. هذه الخطوة تعطي نكهه طيبه للدقيق
2. اضافة الزبدة ، تذوب على حراره منخفضه مع مزيج دقيق بشكل جيد
3. يضاف الحليب تدريجيا
4. إضافة الملح والفلفل حسب الذوق مع التحريك المستمر للحيلولة دون ان يصبح المزيج متكتلا حتى تصل الى السماكه المرجوة. يمكنك ان تضيف المزيد من الحليب ويتوقف ذلك على السماكه التي تريدها.
5. تضاف رشه من جوزة الطيب

المعكرونة :
-- ونصف كيلو غرام من اختيارك لأي نوع من المعكرونه
-- الغليان والطبخ وفقا لتوجيهات على الكيس

صلصه الطماطم واللحم :
-- ربع كيلو من لحم البقر او الخاروف
-بصله كبيره مقطعه ناعم
- زيت الطهي
-1 ملعقه الشاي من الاوريجانو ( الزعتر البري الأخضر أو ألناشف) والريحان
( ألحبق)
بقدونس أذا رغبت
- والملح والفلفل الأسود ، البهارات على حسب الذوق

    I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for all of the great recipes. I do have a question. Everytime I make the bechamel sauce, I have a problem making the right quantity with the right consistency. The taste is fine, but the problem I usually have is when I am done baking, the macaroni is not held together. I find the consistency to be too liquidy. How can I correct this?

  • @vvrayavv , Thanks for your comment and liking my cooking videos. the only thing i can think of is that you are using too much milk in your béchamel sauce or maybe the other ingredients have too much liquid in them? maybe the tomato sauce is too runny? i suggest that you use this recipe, and i hope it works out for you to make one cup of white sauce:

    2 tablespoons butter

    2 tablespoons flour

    1 1/4 cups milk, heated

    Salt

    Freshly ground pepper

  • @SEESAMEER1 , i use regular white flour...bleached or unbleached, white or wheat, anything will do.

    اللحم المفروم( + بصل + صلصه الطماطم مع شويه مويه تحطيها فالآخر

    طبعا لما تطبخين البصل مع اللحم المفروم تضيفين البهارات ملح+فلفل اسود+ ثوم بودره+اي بهارات ع ذوقك

    وبعدها تضيفين البقدونس المفروم الطازج قبل الصلصه وبعدها الصلصه وخلصنااا وترتبيهم بالصينيه

    وع الفرن

    وبالعااافيهه
