So here's my first album review.

I wanted to start of with the most discussed album of the last year:
Illud Divinum Insanus from Morbid Angel.

I really think people need to learn to think a little before commenting on something.
Yes they made a bad decision ( imo ) but there's no need to give them so much crap for it

Its a bit frustrating when people can't take constructive criticism.But judging from weak album reviews not everyone can think beyond the surface

Ik vind 't vervelend dat zoveel mensen dit album afzeiken omdat het 'anders' is. Alsof een artiest een strikte lijn moet volgen van wat mag en wat niet. Dit staat overigens allemaal los van of de CD 'goed' is of niet. Ik baal gewoon ontzettend van de hele metal-scene dat steeds vaker ontzettend grote oogkleppen opheeft, en hierdoor wil ik meer en meer afstand nemen van het 'metal' label.

another thing that these people who cry sellout or traitors seem to not realize is that a band making one album that's not musically what they like doesn't garantee that said band will go with that style from now on for all we know Illud divinium insanus may be just a one time experiment for Morbid Angel, it's too early to give up hope and say they are no longer going to make good albums.

I think Morbid Angel tried to go into another direction, but it didn't work. It's not their style. Although in my opinion this album sucks i'm also think that i'll be supporting the band, 'cause they're icons in death metal. You're right Infidel, not all in this life are positive comments, most of the times people react against tough words. I hope you do in the future the reviews about Exumer and Cannibal Corpse new stuff. Kisses from Mexico!

I don't like this album much, but "Existo Vulgoré" and "Blades for baal" are very good songs.
