@blackpenguin69 Because for the same year, buying a v6 and x-charging it, plus a tune for it, plus the 8.8 rear end, it is actually cheaper than buying a GT. In the end, you'll have a car that has very similar (if not more) power, costs less to insure, and the total price tag was less. Of course you can install many more mods on the v6 that will push it beyond the power of a stock GT, but strictly speaking in terms of getting it on par, it's cheaper to go the v6 route.

How much do you think that's going to cost you? You want the long rod or regular? I think about 8k at least. It's going to be a lot of work if you want to do it yourself. Are you doing the work yourself and having someone to do it? It cost me almost 3k Just by doing myself with the long rods. Total cost of the car 37k. Remember I bought this car new. It just gives you an idea of how much you will be paying, if you are doing the work yourself. Good luck
Get yourself an MMR intake, Kook's Long tube with an x pipe, Screamin' Demon Coil and JBA Powercables, and an oil catcher. (Get yourself an oil catcher first though) Trust me you'll gain more HP than you expected. Total cost $1250 with self installed. If you want more install a 2.7 pulley.
