this is happening in rural Canada as well...Northern Ontario is becoming hopeless over the industry which has pulled out of there and I hear other parts of the Country also....

crazy my family is frm Cary MS and most are there because they want to be....not cause they are so poor they have to be...they came to the city (seattle) and wanted to go bac..i couldnt do it but they love it!!

Here in south west Nebraska, the land hogs bought up massive lands, 12 families have on average own 60 plus square miles, In other words one family owns what over 300 families use to own and make a living from, then the tax payers pay the rich $150 an acre not to grow crops. can the world get any crazier.

Its not just Inner Cities that have High Poverty but Rural Areas as well. Who are probably forgotten because they live in such small areas.
