If the internal mic is soldered and then you solder and external mic to the same place, how does the camera know which signal should it record - the one from the internal or the one from the external mic? you soldered both mics parallel right or not ?

@peshgeorgiev I completly took out the internal mic. I used just the leads to the board.

It would be major improvement with lighting from the camera's view, vs at the camera making it mostly dark for detail.

@Philscbx Sorry about that. I shot the vid with the best I had back in 2009. I shot this with a kodak Zi8 which has no light built in.

I think on the next model they should just add a 3.5mm jack, and everyone's life a whole lot easier
