WOW!!! A completely different woman it almost looks like. She looks fantastic! This makeover was the only good that came out of this family being on the show. Her daughters are a lost cause, so it seems. All the help that was given to each of those girls, and nothing worked at all.

This is painful to watch. Dr. Phil 'rewards' a problem mom with cosmetic surgery for selling out her problem kids to the media, instead of protecting & respecting their boundaries and getting some real help. Her kids are totally screwed up because they've been screwed and getting screwed by people they trust over and over again. But hey, it's good for the ratings, right? Viewers love to watch this trainwrack unfold.

@jesiahbailey When you pay close attention to this family and Erin's responses to both of her daughters it is painfully obvious that she favors Katherine. In one episode Erin tells Dr. Phil she isn't going to answer a question b/c it would mean admitting to a probation violation that could send Katherine to jail. Consequences never stopped her from doing those same things to Alex. Being the child not favored makes maturing and making good choices that much harder.

Media attention -for some reason I find Alexandra the victim of mediawhores and as she had some problems she should by no doubt be treated in peaceful surroundings not by moneymakerPhil and a dominant mother.

As I just saw a drPhil program it´s clear to me that something also was historically wrong between Alexandra and her facelifting mother.

The feeling is that Alexandra wants her own reality free from her mothers intervention and dominans, even if Erin seem to want the best for her doughter.
