So if you just don't think the organ is your cup of tea then here's a little Organ 101. The reason we organist love to play is because of the motion the Leslie speaker gives to the tibia voices. The Leslie takes the otherwise mundane flute sounds ( AKA tibia) & rapidly throws them around. It is the result of this which mimics the sound of a real pipe organ. Don't like the pipe organ much? Neither do I much. I prefer the songs of the 1930's played on an Electronic theater organ, or ETO for short.
