In an outrageous case of bureaucratic theft, Obama's BATFE (Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives) has declared M-4 replica AirSoft guns "easily convertible in Machine Guns"! Clearly, Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder have made a conscious decision to attack the 2nd Amendment, when this story is taken to light along wit the recent ATF shutdown of the Texas Gunshow in Austin. Airsoft guns, which shoot relatively large, slow plastic BBs, are a great introduction to marksmanship and the 2nd amendment. And this government is clearly against that.

The ATF probably took them to use for their own training or to give MEXICO... We all know how that turned out!!!

Because an airsoft assault rifle is a Machine gun? I wish the government knew anything about guns.

@AT4ROCKET its quite apparent that you don't know much about international sales & distribution or international business in general if you seriously believe this. the orange tip law does not apply to distributors or manufacturers. it applies only to the retail sale of non-firing firearms and toys. it is the responsibility of the retail selling party to meet their own government mandated specifications, not the distributor or the manufacturer. this goes for all things not just airsoft

@visno you're point? they make specific versions for the US retail market with orange tips, if not. ALL the distributors do, these guys werent ordering from the factory. they order from a distributor. get your facts straight before you talk out of your ass.

the only part that could be used on an actual firearm would be the picatiny rails and the carry handle. even then i still wouldn't want to use parts from a toy on an actual weapon.

@AT4ROCKET this is not true at all. orange tips are required in the united states. in taiwan, where these guns are made and shipped from, do not require orange tips.
