In Memory of Howard Zinn

The man transformed movements and struggles. Whenever I felt alone, hopeless, or beaten down as an activist his work kept me going. It kept me fighting. If it wasn't for him and his stories of inspiration I probably would have given up and submit to depressed apathy. Thank you so much Howard and rest in peace. You have inspired generations to come

It's hard to believe he's been gone for nearly a year now. We lost an amazing human being, a true hero. And I hope for all our sakes that his legacy will live on, and we can turn this country, this world, into what he had always wanted for it. RIP Dr. Zinn.

Its so sad that I never knew of this great man till after he passed..Would have been such an opportunity to meet him..Let his work, his energy, and his spirit live on and grow.
