At only 2-and-a-half-years-old, Kelsey Briggs' tiny body had already endured more injuries than most people see in a lifetime. She had broken bones and bruises from head to toe.
"The last time we saw her she wasn't a normal little girl anymore. She had lost a lot of weight, her eyes looked glazed, she didn't have the light in her eyes she had," says her grandfather, Royce Briggs. She was sad. She was a sad little girl and before that, she never had any reason to be sad. It was like she wasn't even in there."
On October 11th at 1:30 p.m., a state worker visited Kelsey for the last time. That worker said everything looked fine, but two hours later, Kelsey was dead.

This really made me cry. I cant believe someone can abuse a child. I just dont understand... how could someone do that? She was beautiful, its not fair. R.I.P. Kelsey you didn't deserve to die.

omg, the video of her at 53secs. That is the face of a battered and terrified child. how could the authorities not see that. Broken legs, bruises, ect. It wouldn't of taken a genius to see that all this started when the monster entered her life. ugh!!! makes me so angry. RIP little Kelsy.

who the hell could do that and sleep at night that poor poor little girl god i think that anyone who does that to a little kid or anyone for fact should have it done to them so they know how it feels.
