The Asian Elephant is sadly listed as one of Earths ENDANGERED spices. At the start of the twentieth century, there were more than 100,000 Asian elephants in existence. Today as few as 30,000 to 50,000 individuals remain in 13 Asian countries.

July 2008: The Elephant Nature Park is located in Chiangmai, Thailand. The park is a Thailand elephant conservation project that rescues and sustain a natural home for this endangered species.
