man i loved the shotty battles in gears 1 more than gears 3. the sound of the shotty in gears 1 sound more appealing and brutal, the body decapitation effect of the shotgun blast was more realistic and satisfying, it was so realistic players would make squeamish sounds when somebody got thier insides turned inside out by the shotgun blast. sigh... good ol times...

I use 2 luv charging ppl with my shotgun blow there ass up and jump through them at the same time. Cant do that anymore with the stopping power these days
