Hey youtube! In this tutorial we added string values to the language. This allows you to intake inputs from a user and store what the user input in a variable, or just close the program without it crashing. In the next tutorial we will lern how to do some simple functions, nothing to compilcated, basicly just stuff like adding constant values and cleaning up the user interface of the compiler. Note that we will not be making a GUI compiler, and we will not be adding an if statement. This is because c# does not allow it. However, some time latter on, I will release some c++ tutorials on making a compiler in which an if statement will be implimented. Hope this tutorial helps! Happy holidays!

  • No, can't an if statement be brought out of the for statement?

  • It could be posible, but its not likely. I've tried doing that, but I haven't had any luck so far.
