Quaker Parrot talking and being silly

So, you saw Kamali talking - now here is Charlie. He's such a comical little guy. He tends to be a little psychotic - but I like it that way - he's just a little off center.

He says: Step up - good boy, and he must have watched COPS on tv in his previous home, because he started saying 'bad boys bad boys whatcha gonna do' - (only it sounds like 'bad boys bad boys do do do...') He also says, 'don't bite i don't like that!!!' and don't bite Raffle' - that was the cockatoo he used to live with, and then one day I was walking by his cage and he said really loudly: HELLO BABEE- I was trying to get him to say that.

Oh well - another day.

My Quaker died yesterday :( I was so attached to it but I'm thinking of having it stuffed.

@shas09 Wow, so very sorry. Quakers are my favorite. I know what it's like. I'm not sure I would stuff it though. If you had any pics of it - create a collage on your computer and print it out with a saying from your heart and frame it. Time will heal - :o( ...

@Tealeyesdreamer Actually, no - just Kamali, for some reason, does not like SweetiePie. I have to watch them and make sure that one or the other is caged up as one or the other is out and about. Kamali attacked SweetiePie one day. He was pretty roughed up, but he pulled through.

he is so funny. I have a Green cheek conure and he hangs out with the finches sometimes so he makes the noise that they make. How did you get him to talk a little because my gc is 1 year old and he hasnt said one word yet.

@hatermyname I've always heard that GC's don't talk that much, but Quakers are excellent talkers. GC's are supposed to be real clowns though.

@Thestargazer000 They can be. Keiko is not very loud.  Charlie talks alot. Kamali talks and when he's not getting the attention he wants, he really SQWALKS!!! Just depends on the personality of them and how much time you have to give them.
