Part 3 of 3-- Topic: feminizing of America. Face the Nation, looking to broaden it's appeal trumps up this subject for your consideration. In his book, Bob Schieffer says it's the first and last time they interviewed a cross dresser for the show. Too bad, because Boy George made more sense than the rest of the panel. Not a new topic for TV or even rock, apparently nobody on the panel had heard of Little Richard.
Gore Vidal chimes in- along with Jerry Falwell. From 1984--

  • Jerry Falwell should do just that! Fall into a fucking well! This is the reason no one goes to church anymore...Xians slammed the door on people ages ago! I FART ON YOU FALWELL and your church!

  • Boy George was the only one that actually made any sense :))

  • Smartest pop star I've seen!

  • But i do agree that the chauvenistic hip-hop crowd should dissapear and never come back! Even though I am conservative, I do like nice fashion and I grew up seeing Boy George and Steve Strange and always liked their creativity, and I do like new-romantic fashion, but I do not like sterile people like Jerry Falwell with that flat-top hair and ugly suits

  • @TheNouveauxdecadence There is a difference between dressing different and overt queerness

  • In This Clip, From 11:32 To 11:47, It Was CBS News' Face The Nation With Leslie Stahl Video Close From Sunday Morning, May 20, 1984.

  • I am very impressed with Boy George's interview. He is very intelligent and I admire him for being himself. I believe that everyone should live as they choose without being judged as long as they are not hurting anyone. Everyone is different and I have alot of respect for Boy George, and I admire him greatly.

  • Falwell see you in hell!

  • bravo boy george
