Hey about how long should this take to render out. My MacPro 12core 64gb ram is saying 6 hours???

@IslandVideoCanada it all depends on how much you have on your ram and if its fast if its fast it should only take one hour or two but if it takes 6 hours and you want it i would recommend you do it on the weekend or try another project

@SuperDiazProductions I built my own desktop last year with i7 3.4ghz and 12gb of ram and a $500 graphics card, it is awesome. it cost me around $3000 cause of all the discounts I got. I have windows 7 and windows xp on it (i love xp). despite that, I still love apple products, if you have money, it's nice thing to have (mac books i mean)

@TasteForDisaster Dont bother with Mac, if you like their OS build your own comp and then use the Mac OS. I would go with the Intel i7-2600k that is their newest/smallest/fastest chip for $340

@19drivenbyblood86 ummmm. no. you don't have the option of getting 2 processors on the mac pro laptops... and a quad core is 4 cores. 2 quad cores would be 8.

@TasteForDisaster No the MacPro's can hold (2) quad-core Intel's (hence the "12" core), however 64gb of RAM is very untrue. I think the most RAM MacPro's have is 8gb and its probably just generic stock RAM. How sad this kid pays like 3 grand for his Mac and yet it takes him 6 hours to render lmao. PC rules.
