It's not just the Walt-era Disney cartoons that are chastised for being racist. There are some who hate the original Tarzan movie because of the tribe of African natives that Tarzan is . . . associated with, and those same people are pissed that the African tribe was completely cut out of the Disney movie and kind of replaced with the gorillas. If someone tried to make a movie that pleased everyone absolutely, that movie would never get made.

The sent him into hostile territory, on his own, and expected him to take out a "large enemy airfield" and wipe them out. Obviously command was trying to get him killed, but he murders everyone anyway (albeit by accident). ...I think I just figured out why Donald Duck acts the way he acts.
