Minecraft - Mob Trap Tutorial [2/2]

[Commentary] Syrup shows how to build a simple, yet effective mob trap in Minecraft. The trap is located underground, so it's easy to use in PvP servers. The dimensions are 20x64 (2 spawning floors recommended), so that there is as little as possible wasted time from moving the mobs from their spawn to the mob grinder.

just to clarrify, can i go afk in the killing room? or will the mobs kill me as they fall?

@Nintendo7676 Good question. In this current setup you can't. But you can either wire up trapdoors or use pistons when they come out to make a system to kill monsters and deliver the items to you.

@imran8206 It's probably night-time outside. Make sure you're doing it during the day, or light up the ground above it.

does it matter where it is located? I did mine but only about two zombiez appeared and only if I go check, mine is close to a cave and a canyon, now its not working
