THE STRAIN- Trailer

UPDATE AS OF JULY 29th: THE REASON THAT IT HAS BEEN MONTHS AND THE FINAL PRODUCT IS NOT OUT YET IS BECAUSE I HAD COMPLETED HALF OF THE FILM, WHEN I HAD GOTTEN A DAZZLE DVC100 CAPTURE CARD. WITH HIGHER QUALITY AND ACTUAL SOUND, I FAVORED RECORDING WITH THAT MORE. AS A RESULT, THE WHOLE THING WAS SCRAPPED AND STARTED OVER. IT IS NOW PROJECTED TO BE 10-15 MINUTES LONG, AND MAY OR MAY NOT BE SPLIT INTO TWO PARTS.


The Strain will be a short film created within Halo 3 that will be 5-10 minutes long. It follows in the footsteps of a nameless survivor, as he treks for miles through dangerous territory. This takes place three weeks after a new strain of rabies spreads before any precautions could be made. This new strain turns people into bloodthirsty homicidal maniacs that have no rational thought, and an extreme temper. -NOTE- Do NOT complain about the quality! I chose to film with camera rather than capture card, because 1.) I do not own one or know where to find one 2.) I think it gives the video a gritty quality.
