@nanananalalala: Sorry that I have to disagree, but IMO age is a relevant factor in Federer's declining performance. Federer hits the ball less cleanly than he used to do, and that it is not due to his opponents. He makes more UEs, and his serve is letting him more frequently down during important moments. I am not sure whether the competititon is more fierce than in 2004-2007, this is a bit subjective I guess. Age is relevant, though I am not saying it is the only factor.

@TheLaGri, hopefully Anacone can get Roger back on track. I think Federer has to change his game and keep the rallies shorter. At the baseline it has become much more difficult for him to keep up with the young guys.
