A small example of just a pair of bassist that would kill paul gray... no pun intended, I didn't have enough space or time to mention Rex Brown , Tom Araya ,Terry Butler ,Flea or any of the other MANY bassist that put paul to shame....Hell, even Sid Vicious was a better bass player ! IN H.D. MUTHAFUCKA !!!!

yea i agree he wasnt the best bassist ever but to dis a guy thts six feet under thts pretty fuckin low dude and second of all u dont have to have complex bass lines to play good notes are notes and playing on jus 1 or 2 strings means he wanted a deeper sound, this coming from someone tht knows every note on tht fretbored.. so suck it bitch

Ryan is a bad mofo. Heard him in 2000 and followed every since. I'm concerned that Greg said they'll be touring in Hellyeah for 2 years. That's 2014 for any new Mudvayne. I think Mudvayne has stayed fresh and Ryan is extremely creative with Matt on the drums. Hellyeah is more like "Kid Rock Metal" and it probably has more mass appeal, but Mudvayne is where I put my money! I wish the best to Ryan & Matt why Greg & Chad whack off in Hellyeah for a while.

ok i agree that paul grey isn't the "best" bass player by any means or imagination, but dude seriously this video is fuckin harsh, sure he wasn't the best bass player but he was the co founder of slipknot and brought a sense of musicallity to slipknot and he wrote alot of the songs... is he the best? no... but he was talented in many ways. seriously dude this video is really uncalled for :p

lol. its funny that even though you presented gray as a not good bass player, or something like that, some people still jive to his tunes. lol. weird. Its almost like, the aspects which you think make a good bass player are not universally shared by every being on this earth?
