Warren Buffett is better at making money than most people. Everyone wants to be seen with him. For the people who move money around to be the favored class, that is a bit off from where we should be.
Buffett lives in Omaha, more than 1200 miles away from Wall Street. It has a population of less than half a million. Buffett's company is called Berkshire Hathaway (BRK). He personally owns a quarter of the enterprise, which takes up an entire floor of an Omaha skyscraper. He runs a team with very few people. He has a couple secretaries, a personal assistant, and a bonds trader. He spends most of his time reading.
Once a year, Omaha awakes. 35,000 people will make the journey to Omaha to attend Woodstock for capitalists, the annual shareholders' meeting. He's just a regular guy who is the greatest investor of all time. Buffett is surrounded by cameras and crowds. But he lives in the real world. He bought his house for $31,000 more than 50 years ago. He doesn't move because he doesn't think he could improve his life by doing so. He bought his car cheaply by looking for cars with hail damage.
Buffett does have some super rich friends, like Bill Gates. They joke with each other about their positions on the Forbes Richest list.
I wish evan davis would have took a more observational stance with this documentary. For example, instead of showing just 40 seconds of Warren actually reading (working) i wish he'd have devoted a substantial segment to what he reads, for long, how long he spends in the office, what television programs he reads etc. Would have provided us with an immeasurable insight into how, why he does what he does. This man to me, is the wisest man on the planet, we can only learn from such a person.

Wow, that college student has a share with BRK? Kid must already be quite well off, if he can purchase a share that sells over $100,000 a pop.

@Borat911 I think you can be as sneaky as you like if you're giving it all away. How many billion dollars have you given to charity lately? This guy has already given $10b+
