IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 FAIL

I was testing a new stick I bought at Goodwill to hold me over for a bit, but P-38 ended up getting shot to hell, and as I was taking it in I discovered I couldn't remember how to turn off a single engine, and accidentally turned them both off.

I eventually get the correct engine turned off (which I did to balance out the aircraft since the left aileron has been shot away completely and trim to max right is not enough). Then I decide 'fuck it' and try to take it straight in at WAY too high speed and too high an angle. I almost succeed with the landing anyway, but I'm not used to my new joystick yet and end up crashing.
