y todo parece ser que Josh Klinghoffer quien es amigo y colaborador de varios discos de solista de John y quien estuvo con la banda en la gira de Stadium Arcadium como músico invitado se queda como guitarrista. Al parecer le habían pedido los demás integrantes que grabara un último disco pero Frusciante se negó, pues quiere seguir su carrera solista y la verdad ya se venía venir su salida, ya estaba muy abrumado en el grupo.
