  • that guitar is spectacular but in my opinion you ruined it with the blue back. Still, the front and side are amazing and i rly dig the way you put maple on the back of the head stock.

  • Thanks for your kind words. The back is actually black but most black dyes have a bluish cast to them. I finally found a dye that it really black. The maple on the back of the headstock looks nice but it's there for the purpose of laminating the neck/headstock transition to make it super strong. The headstock won't break off if something tragic happens.

  • This is awesome! Sounds great! Can I ask what the tone capacitor is? My custom Malden came with a .047 Mylar, & I was going to try a PIO .047 or PIO .033

Sprague Vitamin Q' !?! Neck HB is 8.53 ohms Bridge is 9.10 ohms! It's a Semi-hollow body, with just 1 Vol & 1 Tone. ThanX any help would be appreciated!

  • I can't honestly say what this one has for caps. I'm using oil and paper .223 now and a cap/resistor on the volume pot to retain the highs when the volume is turned down.

  • I can't believe you knocked holes in it....good way to destroy the look of a beautiful guitar.

  • I trust you say this tongue in cheek....those holes are from natural bark inclusions, the bark was removed.

  • Holy crud. that is the legit nicest guitar i have seen in my life, if that were for sale how much would you sell it for? if you could make another one like that, i would buy it, no questions asked.

  • Wow... just wow... superb instrument... Really impressive.

  • @prs907 Since te 50s everybody copies everybody, and today is almost a joke... Still, this originals of today, look terrible most of the time, so, If the big boys copy, is more then justified that the small cats do the same to sell 5 or 6 instruments a year...

  • Nice use of timber, that holes r really a fantastic idea to use some wood that normally would be wasted. I would not like it cosmetically, but couse of the sound, I love it!! Can we hear it acustically also?

  • No offense here...clearly that guitar has a lot of craftsmanship and love put into building it, but why did you basically do a knock off PRS design?? From the body carve to the headstock it just screams "wannabe" PRS. I'm sure it plays and sounds amazing but where is the originality?

  • How much ?
