The Faces of Druidry; The Legacy of Phillip Emmons Isaac Bonewits

I did this video some years ago. Recently, our beloved founder, Isaac Bonewits crossed over the veil into the Summerlands. Ár nDraíocht Féin is his Legacy and this is a video of the many people of Ár nDraíocht Féin: A Druid Fellowship. ADF is an international fellowship devoted to creating a public tradition of Neopagan Druidry for which I am a member.

I will be doing a tribute video to Isaac that I hope to have up by tonight. I just wanted to rededicate this video as a testimony to his legacy.

@DruidMedb That would be great Medb. This is a very old video. I been wanting to do a new one for some years but I can't seem to gather enough new pictures until recently. If I could get one good picture of the Mother Grove I be ready to make a new video. Also I been search for a good picture showing all the former archdruids together. That be nice.

i really like this music. i'm recently getting into druidry and trying to learn more about pagan rituals and beliefs. the music just helps that much more to confirm that this is the right path for me :) ty

@GreenElfMom Yes and don't be surprise if you end up seeing DruidMedb becoming our first Archdruidess. She has been attacking the study programs with gusto while teaching classes herself and we in the Northwest are lucky to have her as our Regional Druidess. She is a workaholic within ADF just like our present Archdruid Reverend Kirk Thomas.

That's because there is only one Archdruid at a time for all of ADF and he serves for 3 year terms. We've only had 5 ever, with the 5th being elected just this year. We have Senior Druids for our local congregations and they are about 60% female right now.

@GreenElfMom To add to what Gypsy said we haven't had a female Arch Druid as none have ran for the office but nothing is holding them back from going so.

@lilithblackdragon Because, one of the first prophecies in Genesis eludes to the Son of God coming. The Jews knew there would be a Messiah. The Holy Spirit was alittle more elusive, but, His role was fully recognized in the New Testament (although, He had a role in the Old Testament, just not as prominent).
