Metaphysical Function was the most stunning app in Native Instruments legendary "Electronic Instruments2XT" bundle. This bundle also contains the ultra cool drum sampler named "Krypt" and "Limelight" as well.
Unfortunately this bundle is out of sale and discontinued. You can check out the specs here:

I don't know if these tools are working on OS X Leo or Vista. So I'm sticking with my good ol' G5 Powermac to keep them running on Tiger.

MF is still available. It's part of the current Reaktor 5.5 release, look under Electronic Instruments 2.

@salzmanufaktur Though you probably know this, thankfully (since you posted last) this awesome bundle has been included in Reaktor 5.5 for free (Electronic Instruments 1 and 2). Good times for Reaktor owners.

@tooll666 Metaphysical Function isn't part of Reaktor. It only has the Reaktor engine but it rund standalone or as a VSTi. Meta was part of the Electronic Instruments2XT bundle. But unfortunately this awesome bundle is discontinued.

If you right click on the waveform (down at the left) a menu comes up. You can add your own samples or loops. With the AMP fader below you can adjust how much of the original sound will be mangled by Meta.
