The crossing from Isla del Coco, Costa Rica to the village of Taiohae, Nuka Hiva, Marqesis Islands, French Polynesia on Cool Change III, a 46 foot motor sailor. (3300 nautical miles in 25 days at sea). Part of a four year cruise of Mexico, Central America and the South Pacific.

thanks for the reply. when i tell people about my goal of leaving to circumnavigate in a few years they always ask if i'll be bored sailing across the pacific. but that is the thing im really looking forwards to, the absence of land for weeks at a time, the amazing star viewing, the purity and the connection with the boat and nature and my family as well. i will be there one day my friend, thats a promise.
keep up the vids, they inspire people on days when you need it.

Glad you enjoyed the film clip. You are right, seeing the real thing is breath taking. Also, when we were several thousand miles from the nearest land, viewing the night sky is awesome.
