A few days ago a friend and I spotted one in daylight tailing a plane that just took off. I pointed it out and just as he noticed it the sphere vanished. It looked to be about 100 yards from the plane when it vanished. It was either a bright white or silver color because it seemed to be kind of a glowing ball.
