Cutting out a model engine connecting rod blank on my homebuilt CNC Mill. Connecting rod designed using CAMBAM. Jet JDM-15 mill/drill converted to CNC. CPU is a HP ZE4500 notebook running MACH3.

  • @DrFrankensteam go work somewhere that has CNC machines do the night shift and you can go to school while doing that and do your homework on the job. Also learn to weld

  • Very nice machine! I really would like to get into CNC, I have no idea where to start. There is so much info on the internet, I am confused as to where I even start!

  • I have this same mill. At about what rpm would you say your X and Y turns at. I dont want anything fancy but id like to rig a motor of some sort and would like some starting point. Good job btw.
