Did these young impressionable minds get to see only Kayford? Or do you only show them your narrow minded view?
Don't let them see any of the many reclaimed sites. Don't let them meet any miners or engineers. They might not fall for your crap unless you keep that view as narrow as possible.

I grew up at Kayford and now work there. This property provides my family with a great income. There is no tourism here, just "live off the gov. Larry" Larry's family sold Massey and Arch the property, so blame them, and show me another way 50% of this nation can power up without coal.

Tourism directors and promoters should have to tour this before they promote tourism of anything else in our state. They should take Bray Cary of Channel 13 and Bill Raney pres. of the WV Coal Association with them to spend the night on one of these sights.
