I can understand where someone might make that mistake. After all, the Invisible Man did go around dressed like the mummy half the time.

Tell me about it, while I love these collections, I hate with every fiber of my beaing the double sided DVD, the replacement sets I have for Frankenstein and Dracula at least had a foam pad in them to Disk 2 doesn't scratch as easily on shipping, but still why a Double Sided DVD, why not two or three single sided double feature DVDs,

Some discs freeze, and some actually come loose in the package and get scratched up pretty bad.

Horror novel see video book trailer

@bheemabachus we can only dream...

@snakes3425 That would be awesome, but do remember at least a few Universal horror classics are lost forever. Such as the 1913 Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Maybe a huge Blu-Ray of ALL OF THEM! All with hours of special features!!! AND NOT JUST THE OLD ONES, EVERY SINGLE UNIVERSAL MONSTER MOVIE EVER!!!!
Probably cost $1,000 but I'd still buy it.

I've actually been hoping Universal would release all 53 films to DVD and Blu-Ray as part of the Legacy Set because outside of Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf-Man, the Invisible Man, the Mummy, and Creature from the Black Lagoon many of Universals other films are next to impossible to find
-
@snakes3425 Suggesting that the Phantom of the Opera in this commercial is the 1943 one, I would think that would work, along with possible public domain editions of TPOTO that Universal didn't release.
But my comment was over a year ago. Now, I've got a different idea. Do a multi-disc Blu-Ray set, with all their storage space, and take all of the movies ever on the Legacy Collections, put them in a big set. And then have another set of movies not released in the Legacy Collections by Universal
-
I've notice all the films that have gotten legacy collections are Franchises with at least two sequals. Phantom might be hard since there never was a sequal, unless they include the 1925 verson and the 1962 Hammer Verson which Universal distrbuted here in the states
-
So the collection as it stands right now is Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon, any one know if they plan on releasing Legacy Collections of the Poe Films, and Phantom of the Opera
Lol pause on 1:11, it's not the invisible man. It's the mummy being wrapped in bandages!
