12.1" Eee PC with next generation ION, Nvidia Optimus, dual core D desktop based processors and an upgraded chassis (matte!)

This is the 12-inch notebook / netbook hybrid to wait for.

  • The HDMI in a netbook with good battery life is going to be my next purchase. That way, I can hook my netbook up to my surround system and 120" projector to listen to music while browse the internet and do college papers.

  • HD GREEN BAR ON HD videos i sent mine back everyone having that issue with the greenbar and washed out hd

  • We can't compare this netbook with apple's but is well priced and once pros and cons weighed up I defenitively get this one. It fully fits my requirements as browsing internet, chatting, emailing... and under 500€

  • @SlagarNZ There is flexing on the keyboard. The keys are plastic, but they have a texture feel to them. Typing on it is fine. It does feel cheap in a way, but I'm switching from a Macbook Pro.

  • @mtazc The touchpad itself is fairly large. 2 finger scrolling isn't so great, not as fluid as Apple's Macbook/Macbook Pros.

  • @MinimeDrummerBoi well...stillll this is the most powerful netbook on the market (from my knowlege).. im sure it can fairly support some games on medium settings (the 1201 N played properly..this one is improved) ..meh.

  • how's the touchpad on this?

  • Reviews I've read are totally conflicting on this Eee - some say the keyboard is mushy/extremely flexy, others say (or show) it to be really solid. Also the inclusion of USB3 seems to differ depending on the model/location.

I wish I could find one in a store somewhere so I could see for myself -_-

  • @TehPcKid The ATi 4225 is a higher performance card. Just because it less memory doesn't make it slower...

The Dual Atoms are low voltage processors and aren't meant for intensive applications. Just simple multi-tasking.
