  • Great vid, any chance of you making a "How to play Jo the Waiter" vid?

Chords, finger postions and strumming. There's a whole lot of Numan fans

out there who would be eternally greatful, me for one.

  • thanks for the comment new2.

its pretty straightforward in one sense...as juankenon sez...

verses are all E -D-A-E / open chords

chorus is G-F#-A / barre chords

a "how to" vid is an idea though...I'll see what i can do.

    many thanks again.

    chris p.

  • Very nice!

Am I wrong with the chords on this one?

    Verse: E - D - A - E (open)

    Chorus: G - F# - A (barre)

Awesome rendition of a very cool song, one of my GN favourites, cheers

  • my sincere thanx juankenon....thats exactly right.

I think gary numan uses a different chord to D but this way seems to work I think.

one of my all time faves too.

    thanks again.

  • Nice one Chris, saw Gary in Glasgow a few times and met himself and the band after the concert.

  • Loved it !

  • brilliant!

  • @nepeanmedia

Dude forgot to thank you for this. That fingering is wonky but its straight on. BTW Nepean as in Ottawa?

  • I reckon it actually sounds better with a D without the 'd' freeted on the e string. Bloody hell 30 years - you just put more grey hairs on my head

  • by jove, thats it...hahahaha, after 30 years I foinally got it.

Thanks a lot for that nepeanmedia..

hahaha, after playing D for nearly all that time, this could take some gettin used to though ;-)

    seriously though, thanx again.

  • instead of a D play a C shape slid up two frets - sounds a little discordant but I think that was the idea

  • Loved it- ive just covered this as well- well done
