I have windows 7 and i want to have a second Operating System. I downloaded and bought a new Windows XP disk and I could probably get two operating systems working besides the fact my boot disk won't load. Meaning it won't even be recognized and just loads windows 7 normally

@Zod011 having two operating system with same drive C or two difference partition is not make any problem, it work normally, when you boot your PC/Laptop will appear two options of what exactly windows you want to run . in that case if one of them works and other one not work, you have to fix the one not working , you can install it again or you can repairer ,-------->

@Zod011 how to repair ? put CD disk Xp or what ever window you want then boot, before you inter through installation, make sure you keep your eyes on the steps select Repair Tab then you will get which operating system you want to repair , select the one not working so it repair the errors after fix , you can use easy with both OS
