Yeah shit! I grew up in napier, and that beach is rough! I almost sroend there several times.... Its so cool though! go the naps! and dont be stupid people

Never swim i that beach in NApier Its usually ROUGH. It should win the worst beach in the world award honestly!

Nice video, amazing waves, sometimes you can get a freak wave and it can easily overshoot the pebblle beach and wash over the Marine Parade.
I was in Napier over the weekend and enjoyed it, especially the hot pools.

I live in hastings- its not by the sea. So we come 2 napier alot but i have never seen it this bad.

Hey with your name I can't resist asking you, where do you think the most wild & wooly beatuiful raw land is in the country to start a biodynamic, food forest, super adobe, green health & healing spa w recording studio? (not big very cozy & friendly working with locals if they are interested) Want something at least 2hrs+ away from large towns & airport. Also w some altitude more inland good not on oceanfront. Coming for first visit in May can't wait! Love your thoughts "About NewZealand"

Well your welcome there, Miss Multiple viewer lol....Definately no plunging in this surf, closest i got was 20m to water line and even that was probably dangerous. This beach is known for rogue waves out of nowhere and sadly several people have died in recent years due to being swept out by rogue waves. Keep an eye on whats coming at all times, respec the oceans power.
