Wow, name calling. Back to the point: whether I can prove to that an underclass exists is one thing; that the lady caller believes that this class exists is another.
I believe it exists and I believe the black community (and any group on perpetual welfare, including whites ) is worse off. Children born out of wedlock is 80% for black over all -it was around 20% before welfare. I suppose you believe that 80% figure is due to racism.

(and by the way, if I'm old enough to do my own research, you are old enough to spell "that" and "caused" correctly) I already have done my welfare research. And unlike you. the books I have read all contain empirical evidence (like the Undeserving Poor and It Takes a Nation). Thomas Sowell is a right wing loon who contradicts himself regularly, and I have a feeling your litttle foofy British boy is the same.

I'll pass on the video, though. I don't consider 80% of black children being born out of wedlock proof that "There is an entire sub-group who have never worked a day in their lives," which is all I'm looking for.
