Here I show you how to add conditional formatting to your calendar appointments in Outlook 2007 running on Windows 7 RC1.

Example, if the word "Meeting" is in the apt subject field, color the apt black so it stands out.

  • This looks good for a calendar that is not shared. When you do this with a shared calendar, only your view changes. Others using the shared calendar don't see the conditional formatting. Is there a way to format things so everyone using the same shared calendar see the same conditional formatting?

  • @JustinGyi Very good question/comment.... I haven't tested it with shared calendars. That sure would be nice though. I will see if I can do some testing soon and let you know. If you figure it out, please let me know too.
