Does it cause condensation inside during cold temps?
kyletango 1 month ago
@kyletango i have found that there can be a slight dampness on the inside surface of the tube under my feet. I think it's the section of the tube inside that is the coldest as it's furthest away from my body and air then cools at that end and turns to moisture. More ventilation at the foot end would allow more air to circulate and i think eliminate the moisture.
Used in its original purpose, in a survival situation, I'd take a bit of moisture for the protection and warmth it offers.

It was a ZX1. It's not great in poor light conditions, as I found out in this, my first, video. In bright conditions, outdoors, it's fine.

Nice video!
Question: Can you breath properly with that Blizzard Cocoon over you?
xxxxLEADERxxxx 2 months ago
@xxxxLEADERxxxx Hi, I don't actually pull my head inside the tube. I tighten the cord so it pulls tight around the back of my neck and under my chin. This stops any breath condensing inside and making my sleeping bag damp.

where is the snow?

@mattgataphatbat It's all in the name: Blizzard is the company that makes it, although I guess it's also referring to the conditions that their products can be used in.
