I saw this on vhs back in 1984 along with Cannibal Holocaust. Rented both from the local gas station. I was 14. Same place I used to buy cigarettes.

@Dualismoassoluto The animal killings were pretty pointless. They can use special effects and props to kill the characters but they can't on the animals? I'm glad the asshole that made the movie went to jail. I'm not even a serious animal lover, but that was just wrong and stupid.

Cannibal Ferox; one of the best imo.

Yeah, the animal killings are strong stuff and once you see them you can't quite get them out of your head. The DVD I have gives you the option of watching the movie without those scenes but I've never tried it--I mean, it's not like you watch this film for a night of charming, gentle family entertainment, and the animal killings aren't necessarily the worst things about it.

Yeah, i corrected myself about 20 secs after i posted the comment, when i remember ive seen him in house on the edge of the park.
And, if you read the comment, could u review newer exploitation films, like Long Pigs and Hobo with a shotgun, been a subscriber off ur channel for a long time, and i would love it.. one grindhouse fan to another :)
I would watch the movie Cannibal Holocaust but i have a huge heart for animals. and i heard the animals were actually killed i would prob. bust out crying with the animal scenes. are the animal killing scenes really bad?

@OfficialYobusters it's not nice. I wouldn't watch it if you're upset by that kind of thing

is Mike, Ralph Fiennes? looks like him

@metallicaguitarfan LOL He's a bit classy for a film like this. Mike is played by my favourite Italian exploitation film actor Giovanni Lomabardo Radice (aka John Morghan)
