I see these and say wow he's been in biz a long time. High-end carpenters cut crown flat. Try to build stairs on these. It provides a great working station especially for cutting skirt boards and the blades position is great for crubing wood other that you must block it out with a 2 by 4 to achieve an even blade drop. Your Dad should have taught how to use a saw. All I got to say is goto 239satirs my Dad taught me better. Dork!
